WHAT PERSONAL DATA IS COLLECTED?

We collect the following personal data via the order page, contact links, contact forms or browsing activity:

• address details including post code
• email address
• telephone numbers (landline or mobile)
• computer IP address

No other personal data is collected or stored by this website. Payment details are collected by a third party site.

 

WHY DO WE COLLECT THIS PERSONAL DATA?

All data is collected for the purpose of fulfilling your order or for contacting you in respect of your enquiry or request, or for website traffic analysis. We also collect personal data via a third party website (MailChimp) in order to fulfil newsletter subscription applications (see Newsletter). This personal data is not stored by our website. We may occasionally send out important information to customers using details held if you give us permission to do so.

When you visit the website, data such as your geographical location, device, internet browser and operating system is collected as part of our traffic analysis software. None of this information personally identifies you to us. Our webserver records your computer’s IP address which could be used to personally identify you under certain circumstances.

 

HOW LONG IS DATA KEPT FOR?

We will keep your personal data for no longer than reasonably necessary and  only retain your personal data for the purposes mentioned. We will keep your personal data for the purposes of processing orders now and in the future, and if we need to contact you or supply you with requested information. You may request your personal data be removed from my system at any time (see Data Control).

 

YOUR RIGHTS AND YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Unless subject to an exemption under the GDPR, you have the following rights with respect to your personal data:

NEWSLETTER

If you subscribe to our newsletter via the MailChimp service, we will periodically send information and promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting. Your subscription details (email address and name (if provided)) will only be used for this purpose. This is a self subscription newsletter service – i.e. you give your consent when you sign up to the service and you have to confirm your consent before you are subscribed.  You will only receive newsletter emails if you subscribe. Your email address will remain within MailChimp’s subscriber database for as long as we continue to use the MailChimp service for our newsletter or until you specifically request removal from the list. You can unsubscribe from future newsletter emails using the unsubscribe links contained in any email newsletters that I send you or by requesting manual removal via email. Please note, if you request manual removal from the list via email, you must send the email from the email account that is subscribed to the mailing list.

 

SECURITY

We are committed to ensuring that your personal data is secure.  In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the personal data we collect online. Any personal data collected and stored by this website is only accessible by authorised members of our staff (see Data Control).

 

DEBIT CARD/CREDIT CARD DETAILS

I use a third party payment processing gateway to process all online debit card and credit card transactions. I have no access to, so do not store, any personal debit/credit card information.

 

COOKIES

Once you agree, the file is added and the cookie helps analyse web traffic or lets you know when you visit a particular site. This website traffic analysis system records your computer’s IP address which could be used to personally identify you under certain circumstances.
