New lampshade making course launched
Cocoon Home has been making bespoke lampshades for ten years and teaching traditional lampshade making courses for half that time. With most of these courses having taken place elsewhere, I am finally in a work space where I can teach students without it being a health and safety hazard. I also feel part of the cool crowd as it is quite New York-loft stylee, with a rental price to match (my fridge is often empty so I can keep this roof over my head and my business running).
Taught in my live/work unit in Seven Sisters, I have launched a two day lampshade making course that covers pleated and gathered shades for students who have completed the traditional lampshade making course with Cocoon Home or elsewhere. This will take place on the 21 and 22 November 2016 and, with a class size that is limited to four students, you will have me keeping a constant eye on you. The ticket price include all materials and a delicious lunch and as much discussion as you wish about bespoke lampshade making and other courses that Cocoon Home holds.
You can book your place by clicking here.
If you have not yet been on the traditional lampshade making course, this is next running on the 3 and 10 December 2016. Tickets can be booked here.
But if you are totally uninterested in attending one of Cocoon Home’s lampshade making courses but want a bespoke lampshade, you can get in touch using the contact form or telephone numbers below.
